Damji D. LimdaStarted as young boy run away from home in 1961 from the village ‘Rampar vekra (Kutch)'.Came to Mumbai & joined plywood market as labour cum clerk. Later the star showed the Transport line & started with Kothari Transport & continued the journey with Shakti Transport Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai, Bhandup Janata Local Transport. From 1964 to 1968 Somaiya Transport & from 1968 to 1969 to Sai Transport.

Later in 1969 Started JALARAM TRANSPORT COMPANY.

M/S Jalaram Transport Company (J.T.C.) was formed on Monday, 19th January 1970. with initial business as a lorry supplier at Wadi Bunder.

Later in 1975 after 5 years of prestigious business, he started parcel service from Mumbai to Kolhapur as daily business with M/s. Sahyadri Transport Company as a Kolhapur associate for Booking & Delivery. In 1980 flourishing the said business the J.T.C. stared Kolhapur branch in Shahupuri 1st Lane to support the parcel delivery and provide assured and prompt services, which was stringent watched over by Mr.Tulsidas Devji Limda (Younger brother of Mr.Damji D. Limda Proprietor).



In-1981 : With continuation to the same the J.T.C. stared a Mumbai Registered office cum godown at Chinch Bunder to support the inflowing parcel. Mr. Ramesh Hirji Sarun (Son-in-Law) joined in the business of J.T.C. & today he is operating Mumbai office.
In-1985 : To provide better services & delivery J.T.C stared its own Godown with booking & Clerical office at Shahupuri, Kolhapur.
In-1987: To provide deliveries to industries outside the octroi limit & better booking facility the company started office at Shiroli, Kolhapur.
In-1989: After maintaining the good relation with contracted vehicles J.T.C brought the First company owed vehicle in 1989.
In-1990: Mumbai local & Transshipment market was slowly shifting to Bhiwandi J.T.C. Started the Bhiwandi branch to cope up with the business stretagies.
In-1991: Mr. Girish Limda son of Shri. Damji Limda started looking after the company operations from Mumbai.
In-1992: Mumbai Corporation announced shifting the Iron Market to Kalamboli in the same vision J.T.C. started the branch in Kalamboli.
In-1996: As Gokul Shirgaon MIDC was coming up with huge & large industries to provide better service J.T.C stared the branch to expand.
In-2002: Girish Limda keeping the route trend in mind of Mumbai to Kolhapur initiated Pune Division with five branches & started services from Pune to Satara, Karad, Sangli, and Miraj & Kolhapur at district level. Today Pune division is working as one of the leading transporter on the said route.
In-2008: To accommodate to the space constraints J.T.C stared huge godown at Nagaon.
In-2010: Shifting to new inwarding godown cum office at Shahupuri 4th Lane.
